This course is designed for the advanced rescuer who is expected to supervise and manage a resuscitation event.  This course’s learning content is credentialed through the NZRC, a certificate will be issued when all aspects of assessment are passed and completed. Audience: Doctors, Nurses and midwifery staff working in acute settings, General Practitioners, Specialists, Dentists or any health professionals that require NZRC Core Advanced to practice.

This course is designed for the rescuer who would be expected to manage the early stages of a resuscitation event.  This course’s learning content is credentialed through the NZRC, a certificate will be issued when all aspects of the assessment are passed and completed. Audience: Doctors, Nurses and midwifery staff working in acute settings, General Practitioners, Specialists, Dentists or any health professionals that require NZRC Core Immediate to practice.

New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC) Core Skills

This course is designed for rescuers who require knowledge, practice and skills used in resuscitation events.  This course can be adapted for different working environments.  A certificate will be issued on completion of this course.

Audience: Doctors, Nurses and midwifery staff working in acute settings, General Practitioners, Specialists, Dentists or any health professionals that require NZRC Core Skills to practice.

Course cost: $269+gst

New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC) Newborn Life Support (NLS) Advanced

This course is designed for rescuers who will attending births or working with newborns in the first minutes to hours following a birth.  The Newborn Life Support course’s learning content is credentialed through the NZRC a certificate will be issued when all aspects of assessment are passed and completed. Audience: Lead Maternity Carer’s, Doctors, Nurses and midwifery staff working in acute settings, General Practitioners, Specialists or any health professionals that require NZRC NLS to practice.

This course is designed for rescuers who might be expected to manage the early stages of a newborns resuscitation.  The Newborn Life Support course’s learning content is credentialed through the NZRC a certificate will be issued when all aspects of assessment are passed and completed. Acute Life-Threatening Events Recognition and Treatment (ALERT)

Basic Life Support
for Vaccinators

Regular courses now being run in both the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

This course is designed specifically for the registration or re-registration of qualified vaccinators.  This course will cover the requirements set by the Ministry of Health Immunisation Handbook A4.2 Resuscitation requirements for all authorised vaccinators and pharmacist vaccinators.  

Content: Basic Life Support for Adult, Child and Infant, AED, Management of an airway including oropharyngeal airway insertion and 1 and 2-person bag value mask use, recognition of anaphylaxis and the administration of adrenaline. 

Audience: Health Professionals requiring resuscitation training to become an authorised vaccinator. 

Course cost: $150+gst
